Amahnee
Amahnee
Quiet but powerful, calm yet dramatic, the words of emerging poet Amahnee King blaze the page, painting portraits of pain, love and truth. She flows slick and melodic with a voice that ricochets off the eardrums and pierces the mind. She recently completed the Artist’s Mentoring Youth (AMY) Project and is currently developing a production for Paprika Festival 2011 where she will make her debut as a playwright. An amateur illustrator and photographer as well, Amahnee is tackling art in all its life forms.
“I’m just trying to find peace of mind. Creating is my way of letting others hear my pulse.”
